Binder

Connect a wallet

How it works

Binder is a pump.fun launcher. Each coin launched here comes with a binder: a wallet that receives a locked share of the coin's creator fees from pump.fun and spends it on graded trading cards from Collector Crypt. The site reads the binder from the chain and shows what the fees bought. This page says exactly what is signed, what is read, and what isn't covered.

1. The launch

The wizard asks for the coin (name, ticker, image, links), the binder wallet, the share of fees for the binder (50, 75 or 100%) and a dev buy. The binder must be another wallet than the launching one, and not already the binder of another coin.

  1. Upload. The server pins the image and the metadata JSON on IPFS through Pinata. The JSON carries createdOn: "https://getbinder.fun", the coin page as website, a line in the description, and binder: { v: 1, binder: "<wallet>", shareBps: 5000 | 7500 | 10000 }.
  2. Creation. PumpPortal's Local API builds the pump.fun creation and dev buy. Before your wallet opens, the browser checks the fee payer and every program the transaction calls, then simulates it after signing and refuses it if it would take more SOL than the review showed. The mint key is made in your browser and never sent anywhere.
  3. Listing. The server re-reads the creation from the chain (success, pump.fun called, mint present, SOL-quoted curve, creator = fee payer, Binder marker in the metadata) before listing the coin. The browser's word isn't enough.
  4. Pledge. A second transaction, built here with pump.fun's official SDK: sweep_creator_fee if fees are already waiting, create_fee_sharing_config, then update_fee_shares with the binder's share and the rest to the creator. pump.fun lets that split be set once and then locks it. Programs allowed: pump.fun (6EF8rrecthR5Dkzon8Nwu78hRvfCKubJ14M5uBEwF6P), pump.fun fees (pfeeUxB6jkeY1Hxd7CsFCAjcbHA9rWtchMGdZ6VojVZ) and Compute Budget.

If the pledge doesn't land, the coin page says “No fee split” in red and offers the launching wallet a button to sign it.

2. Fees reach the binder

pump.fun keeps a fee-shared coin's creator fees in its fee-split account until someone triggers the payout (distribute_creator_fees, built by pump.fun's SDK). Anyone can send it; the coin page shows the waiting amount and a button. The binder's share arrives as SOL.

3. Reading a binder

A card counts when it is a Metaplex Core asset (program CoREENxT6tW1HoK8ypY1SxRMZTcVPm7R94rH4PZNhX7d) in Collector Crypt's collection (CCryptUfeFSZ3Fgc9FLeKrhLVAP67FSqi1GuVoj9CRac) owned by the binder. The site finds them with one getProgramAccounts on the Core program and four byte filters:

offset 0 = 1 (AssetV1)
offset 1 = <binder wallet> (owner)
offset 33 = 2 (update authority is a collection)
offset 34 = CCryptUfeFSZ3Fgc9FLeKrhLVAP67FSqi1GuVoj9CRac

The Verify button runs that same query in your browser, through your own connection, and compares the two lists. Card names, grades, cert numbers, photos and insured values come from Collector Crypt's public metadata service (nft.collectorcrypt.com/metadata/<mint>), for the first 60 cards of a binder; the count is always complete. Collector Crypt cards minted as other standards (older pNFTs) aren't counted.

4. The ledger

The site reads the binder's transactions since the coin's creation slot, newest first, 300 at most per view, and classifies each one from the binder's SOL and USDC (EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v) balance changes and the programs it invoked:

KindRule
Pack rippedUSDC out, and Collector Crypt's gacha wallet (GachaNgyXTU3zFogQ8Z5jR2BLXs8215X2AtEH18VxJq3) received USDC
Card boughtUSDC out, and Collector Crypt's marketplace (CcmRKTuZCGJBWQwMHvDYApBRvSZNHqGJXkznqpDTSQUr) was called. This includes an offer's escrow deposit
Pulled card sold back, card soldUSDC in from the gacha wallet, or USDC in with the marketplace called (sales and escrow returned). Subtracted from the money spent on cards
SwapUSDC and SOL move in opposite directions. Value stays in the binder
Creator fees paid inSOL in, and pump.fun, pump.fun fees or PumpSwap was called
Left without buying a cardUSDC out in any other way, or more than 0.005 SOL out without USDC moving
Sent in from outsideUSDC in, or more than 0.005 SOL in, without any of the above

The fill bar converts SOL at today's price, so its dollar figures move with SOL. Its verdict turns to “Money left without buying a card” as soon as one withdrawal is found. Failed transactions count for nothing.

5. Filling the binder

Connected with the binder wallet, the coin page offers two actions. Neither goes through a Binder server key: there is none.

  • Swap SOL to USDC: Jupiter's public API builds the swap; programs allowed are Jupiter v6, System, SPL Token, Associated Token and Compute Budget; the simulation must take no more than the SOL you typed plus 0.02 SOL.
  • Buy a listed card: Collector Crypt's marketplace API builds the purchase at the listed price and co-signs it; programs allowed are their marketplace, SPL Noop and Compute Budget; the simulation must take no more USDC than the price and no more than 0.01 SOL. The signed transaction goes back through Collector Crypt's broadcast.

Packs ripped on Collector Crypt's gacha with the binder wallet show up in the ledger and the pockets the same way.

Who enforces what

  • The pledged share of the coin's creator fees is paid to the binder, and that can't be edited.

    Enforced on-chain by pump.fun

Right after the launch, the creator signs pump.fun's fee split: 50, 75 or 100% to the binder wallet, the rest to the creator. pump.fun lets that split be set once and then locks it, for the bonding curve and the PumpSwap pool. One exception: pump.fun's own admin can reassign a coin's fees through a community takeover (admin_cto). The coin page would show it.

  • The binder and the share were fixed before the coin existed.

Enforced on-chain by pump.fun and IPFS

The binder's address and the share go into the coin's metadata before it is created. pump.fun fixes the metadata address at creation and an IPFS address is the hash of its content. The coin page compares that promise with pump.fun's split.

  • Every card in the binder is shown, and you can check it yourself.

    Tracked by Binder

The site lists the Metaplex Core assets of Collector Crypt's collection whose owner is the binder wallet, straight from the chain. The Verify button repeats that read in your browser, through your own connection to Solana. Names, grades, photos and insured values come from Collector Crypt's public metadata.

  • Every dollar in and out of the binder is classified, in public.

    Tracked by Binder

The site reads the binder's transactions since the launch (300 at most per view) and sorts each one: fees paid in, cards bought, packs ripped, sales and buybacks, swaps, deposits, and money that left without buying a card. That last kind turns the coin's verdict to “Money left without buying a card” for good.

  • Each binder belongs to one coin.

    Tracked by Binder

A wallet that is already a binder, or the launching wallet itself, is refused before upload. Otherwise one ledger would mix two coins' fees.

  • Nothing is signed that the review didn't show.

    Tracked by Binder

Every transaction is checked against a list of allowed programs before your wallet opens, and simulated after you sign: if one would take more SOL, or more USDC, than shown, it isn't sent.

  • The fees are spent on cards.

    Creator's word

The binder is a normal wallet and its owner decides what to do with it. Binder can't force a purchase or block a withdrawal. It makes every choice visible: cards bought show up in the pockets, money taken out shows up as a leak.

  • The cards keep their value, or holders get anything from them.

    Nobody

The cards belong to the binder wallet, not to the coin's holders. Insured values are Collector Crypt's figures, not a price anyone has to pay. A coin can lose all its value in minutes, whatever its binder holds.

Binder

What Binder doesn't do

  • It holds no key, no SOL, no token, no card and no fee, and can't move anything out of a binder.
  • It can't make a binder's owner buy cards, or stop a withdrawal. It shows them.
  • It can't see other wallets the creator owns, or what happens to a card after it leaves the binder.
  • It doesn't price cards: insured values are Collector Crypt's.
  • It doesn't give holders any right to the cards.

Public data

/api/coin/<mint> returns a coin's market, fee split, cards and ledger as JSON. /api/binder/<wallet> returns any wallet's Collector Crypt cards.
